Whaddaya Think?... It's a photo I took years ago, just now found it (and many others) in a binder I had forgotten all about...I added it to my site, but thought I'd post it here as well and get some feedback on this particular one. So...critiques, please...

lovely, Byron. I like the way you've framed it. It draws you in. Also, forests are magical places, so the subject matter is great for me, because I love trees.

Thanks, definitely... I miss having critiques in art school...putting your work up to show the class, hearing them praise the aspects that "work" and pointing out the areas that do not...hopefully, that will change soon enough, tho..
Until then, there's always P.org...lol

The way the shadows fall on the path ahead of the tree is interesting...it does make you want to see what's ahead.

Wow..thank you for the comments, I do seriously appreciate them. I half-expected this thread to die a quick death and be on page 12 by the time I came back...lol...
As for what "lies ahead" on that path, I can't for the life of me remember... :O...I'd taken another photo in that same area of an unusually dark/black tree (it's on the site, too)...and this path wasn't too far away from the tree. But can't remember where it lead to... ...Might have to take a visit back to this place now.

Oh lord...I could see myself meditating on that top step...
Quite serene. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^

For me, my beautiful... my eyes went directly to the shadow (reflection) of the tree in the lower left corner. For as long as I can remember, shadow reflections draw me in... I love the constant diversity of varience held within a shadow with each drawn second, seeing the transformation right before me... even seeing the beauty of motion *time*, intensively tranced within my own awareness.
Once I snap out of it *smile*... my next focus is within that dark enclosed bushed area, to the right. I want to lie within it... not caring where the path leads, but wanting to reside in the beauty of nature and all natures life. Once my restful state is fulfilled... I wish to climb the most accessible tree (simply for the challenge) and to also see the view beyond. ~Beautiful photo , just like the eyes in which is seen. *love*
