Whenever I give readings I always start with telling people about their past. I will never read anyone I know, or anyone I know about. If I get a couple of things wrong, I terminate the reading. People are sometimes shocked when I do this but if it doesn't flow, I don't read.

I find that telling people about their past first allows them to make a judgement about the things I tell them about the present and their future. I'm careful about the things I tell people (some of you may think this is wrong, but I have my reasons).

All of the above would lead anybody to believe that I am 100% certain about there being a spirit world. I'm not. Sometimes I wonder whether I'm just good at reading people (which would be ironic, as I'm not a terribly good judge of character).

I really do hope there's a world of spirit. I have talked to people "on the other side" through psychics and sometimes had amazing conversations on subjects that the psychics couldn't just have guessed at. I'm not a sceptic but I do remain open-minded, in spite of all this. I accept that part of me wants to believe, so I can't judge these things objectively. But my inner self does believe in spirit, and angels and a lifeforce that surrounds us all with energy and love.

I don't think It's silly. I know Native Americans are very spiritual people. I do have a healthy skepticism towards anyone who claims to be psychic in that I think a lot of the time they are extorting money from vulnerable people and actually have no "psychic" talent, only the ability to be very good at decieving the public.

Having said that, I do believe that some people are very good at reading people and are able to tap into a persons psyche. Perhaps you are able to do this. I think psychics make informed guesses at predicting the future rather than actually "reading" it for real, because I don't think this is possible.
