Ok who's in the Bay Area? I'm headed up there this weekend (from LA) for the 1st time. I wasn't able to attend the picnic in August but I know there's a huge fam base up there. I'd like to get any suggestions for clubs, etc. on Friday and Saturday nights. I'm staying at the Doubletree in the Berkeley Marina.

I posted something similar to this on the NPGMC but I've realized it's kind of so I'm not counting on many responses.

About me:

Well I'm a female and I'm 29 (for now) I'm new to the org as far as posting, but have been lurking here for years cuz I've been a Prince fan since I was like 8. I'm not 'hardcore, as you all would say but I do have a lot of luv for the little guy. I joined NPGMC for the 1st time this year because it's cheap and I wanted to get up close when P's on tour so I can jump on stage and dance. Plus I wanted to get all of the songs he didn't release to the public and get to know people before going the Celebration. (ok so the last two things are a no-go, but oh well it was only $25)

Anyway, I'm not a sheep, I don't masturbate in the chat room or any of the other stereotypes that exist about NPGMC members. So I hope that helps any Bay area folk who can give me an idea about where to kick it this weekend

Although I haven't been lately, I'd say check out Ruby Skye either night. It's an old, restored theatre that was converted into a night club.

I have enjoyed several nights there. The best night of all was Dec 3rd, 2000, when Prince rocked the house during his Hit 'N Run Tour that year. It was amazing!

I went there about a month ago because my sister won some free passes, and it was the most cheesy and boring crowd EVER! Not even interesing people watching either.

The club itself was cool though. Too bad there were such duds there though.

Go to The Endup, Wish, Julip, Ten15, Slims, or 26Mix.

Those are pretty cool.
