For you animal lovers, here is a picture of a cool looking fox... I took this picture last weekend when I took my son to the Dallas zoo... I don't remember exactly what kind of fox this was, but he/she was really cool. Edit: it is a Fennec Fox. You're welcome... my son thought that the fox was incredibly cute too. Do you mind if I send the pic to a couple of people? My niece loves animals, as does my sister.

I think it's called a bat-eared fox. It is mostly nocturnal. THIS SPACE IS DEDICATED TO THE GREATEST BISCUIT OF THEM ALL, "C"BISCUIT

I just found out what it is... it is called a Fennec Fox... cute little guy, really. Very close guess though... the bat-eared fox looks pretty similar, only they have a lot of dark coloration on them and such. ... here's some info I googled up...
The smallest of the foxes and wild dogs, with a length of 16 to 17 inches and a weight ranging between 1.75 to 3.25 pounds (smaller than a house cat), the Fennec Fox is commonly found in the desert areas of north Africa and north Arabia. The Fennec Fox is able to withstand the extreme heat of the desert day by remaining submerged in a burrowed, grass-lined tunnel, 3 feet deep and up to 31 feet in length. The Fennec Fox also has very large ears in proportion to its head. These large ears are useful for radiating heat and may also help it "zero-in" on its prey, especially rodents, lizards, and insects. Fennec Foxes also grub for roots and other plant matter and, aside from desert waterholes, these roots may be an important, secondary source of water. The Fennec Fox, with its large eyes, fur-soled feet, and black-tipped tail can jump as high as four feet in the air, can survive for long periods of time without water, and, with its great speed and agility, is, pound for pound, a very formidable predator. .

Always one of my faves at the zoo, besides otters of any kind.

Always one of my faves at the zoo, besides otters of any kind. I will be taking pictures of river otters at the Fort Worth zoo next weekend! They are my absolute favorite animals in the world. I will post the pictures if I get any good ones... the only problem is that the otters are in a huge water habitat that is very cool, but it is encased in glass, so there are reflection problems, even with the polarizer. I really want one of the Tiffen UltraPol ultra polarizers... SUPERJOINT RITUAL - http://www.superjointritual.com

Total bullshit... Edit: I hope that you were kidding, as I find it insulting that you would imply that I posted a picture that was not mine and said that I took it. I purchased a new camera, a couple of good lenses and some filters and have been taking a lot of pictures, some of which I have posted on here for people to see. I don't know enough about you to know if you were joking or not, so I'm sorry if I misunderstood you. That is a beautiful fox.
I have one in the neighborhood. He is always trotting down the street... Gorgeous, gorgeous red fur. Also, one night I was taking a walk, and walked under this tree. As i passed underneath I felt something hit my head. I looked up, and there sat the cutest raccoon. It was eating the fruit of the tree and tossing the core. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^
