Did you know that gargoyles have traditionally been used to keep evil spirits away? Well. I have a big, freaky gargoyle outside by back door. It's to scare the Christians away.

It's on a building at Indiana University. Took me almost two years to find it after I heard about it. Of course, I had walked right by it countless times.

Gargoyles have always scared me for some reason.

There are some amazing etchings and sculpture work in Notre Dame cathedral (on the exterior, that is..)...much of is it extraordinarily haunting...

I think I have a pic of Notre Dame, actually...(think I just saw one in this box I've gone thru...)...lemme look..lol
