4F DISCUSSION: What do you think about the "Playboy Bunny" symbol? ...I have the pillow(s)...the throw cover...lamp(s) and coasters  I just wanted to know what ya'll thought about the "PB"...some women find it degrading because of what it stands for...I just think the "PB" is a cute thing to decorate your stuff with... Not saying I want to model for the damn magazine but thats seems to be the misconception when people see you have something with the "PB" on it.  Or at least,the folk who've seen my decorations.

I wouldn't care either way if I saw someone with that on their stuff. I would not assume they wanted to pose for Playboy because something can have different meanings to different people.

Quite honestly, when it's worn I think it looks like someone is kinda desparate for men to pay attention to them and think they're sexy. "Oooh, look at me, I want you to think that I'm Playboy centerfold material", lol  . It's like they're trying to send a message that they're desireable and available, rather than just being themselves and letting their natural sensuality/sexuality shine through.

you have to respect the company for its highly effective branding - i mean, a bunny with a bow tie? but they've managed to turn it into one of the most recognizable logos in the world.
personally, i think Hugh Hefner is starting to look rather pathetic in his attempt to hang on to his virility. it will be interesting to see how they will compete with free online porn over the next few years. as far as decorating your house with playboy stuff, i think everybody should do what makes them feel good - it speaks to a certain level of fun and spontaneity, so go for it!! | |
