GO TO WORK vs. SKIP WORK?

hey everyone! trying to decide if i should go to work today or skip work.

if i go to work, well, it's already kind of late and i won't be getting much accomplished. but i would be making a few extra dollars.

if i skip work, well... you know, i'll be skipping work.

How tired are you? What will you do instead? What would you be doing at work?

i would be estimating how green about 3600 rows of corn still are, before harvesting them. (god, i can't wait until i'm done working at the place)

if i stay home... i'll be listening to Bowie, packing up some stuff, and orging.

What's your instinct telling you? Go with that.

it's telling me that it's already 10:30, and since i'm not on the road, and will be working at home base... that i'd rather drive nails into my skull than have to socialize with the boss's wife/receptionist, for even the few moments it would take me to get my note-taking materials together. shake

however, my strong work ethic is telling me to get my lazy ass to work. so i dunno. i'll definitely be working tomorrow and maybe saturday too. so maybe this will be my day off for the week.

Skipping work is one of the finest things a person can achieve.

Don't let it go to waste though.

I recommend:

- Wearing what you wore in bed, all day.
- Don't shave
- Don't open the curtains all day.
- Enjoy a huge bowl of cereal and bananas for breakfast whilst watching talk shows.
- Take out for a late lunch/early dinner, and settle in for an afternoon of your favourite movies - skin up a joint if that's your thing.
- Stay up so late that you can't possible go to work the next day either, and repeat the whole day.

This works best on a Thursday, so you get a 4 day weekend. smile
