Yep, it's me again. Been extremely busy. Just wanted to let everyone know where I stand on a few issues which I haven't been able to express myself on until now.

1) I'm glad to finally see my two favorite all-time musical artists, Prince and George Harrison get nominated to the R n R Hall of Fame. Although Prince is nominated, George Harrison will and should win. After all, he died recently, and they can always induct Prince next year. It's the right thing to do. (I never thought I'd have to choose between these two men! This is hell!) But I really hope P gets inducted next year.

2)Since I've been a very bad Prince fan lately, I do not own either the DVD OR N.E.W.S...I know I know: shame on me. What's been the general opinion regarding these two releases?

3) I still love Prince, although I suppose my obsessive disorder about getting his albums right after they come out has faded a bit, partially due to a hectic schedule, partially due to money being tight, and frankly, the expectation that I will get a bunch of fake jazz muzak. I shall hold my tongue until I get the album in the mail.

4) What the heck happened to npgmc.com?

I feel embarassed asking such obvious questions, but I honestly need to be informed. I'm slowly becoming like those normal people who don't eat sleep and breathe Prince. Save me before I'm a lost cause!

Welcome back! As for the Hall of Fame, both George and Prince can be inducted the same year- they don't limit themselves to one inductee for each year.

Things are going great, Ian. I'm back here at college, and my entire college is now officially unblocked from the org (not that any of them knew about it in the first place).

I'm in my sophomore year and still kicking scholastic ass. How are things with you?

#2. I don't own the DVD yet as well...still waiting to see if it's released here in Australia first. As for NEWS...it's ok. I really need to listen to it more. It's not like a lot of Prince albums which I usualy love and listen to all the time.

#4. I don't go there anymore. I used to check it out when it first started and even posted there. But the place just seemed really cold and lonely to me. I guess I was looking for a place that I would feel welcomed...and that wasn't the place for me.

To answer your questions:

1. I think Prince is more deserving, as much as I liked George Harrison and the Beatles. So nyah!

2. Get your butt over to the Prince Music & More forum to discuss those. My opinion - NEWS is a bit dull, and the DVD has some good moments that aren't totally nullified by the crapola quality of the recording and editing. I enjoyed both enough to say that they are worth purchasing for a Prince fan, but it ain't a substitute for a proper new album.

4. Oh you missed the relaunch of NPGMC? It's all very flashy and irritating now, but at least NPGMC now provides forums, chat rooms etc. I can't say I recommend the site though. Both NEWS and the DVD are available from other sources.
