I'm blue. My closest and dearest friend lost his mom on Saturday. I have known this wonderful, kind soul for twenty years. She went to the doctor on Wednesday complaining of migraine headaches and three days later, she was gone. On top of this, this is the ten year anniversary of my own mother's passing at the age of 43. I am feeling real melancholy today. | |

I remember the time when my best friend lost his Dad. You feel so helpless because you wnat to do something for them but you really can't take away the pain. As long as you're there for your friend and offer a ear for their troubles...it's the best you can do.
