I dug Three's Company when I was a kid, but that's because I didn't know any better.

Now I see it for the popcorn/cotton candy type entertainment it was. It's not as if it raised the bar on sitcoms, and it's not as if it was the worst sitcom I ever saw either. If I see it nowadays on the TVLand channel I'd watch a few minutes if I have time here and there for nostaligia's sake. Sure, it'll make me laugh out loud a couple of times, but ... eh. shrug

That's nothing against Ritter, I DO like John Ritter's work in general. Especially from the tv movies I've seen him in over the years.

Good Lawd, I just turned on TVLand, and what do I see? A Starsky & Hutch episode with John Ritter playing the part of a security guard or something...

What was the final episode like?

Right now TVLand seems to be showing all the shows that Ritter appeared in before Three's Company or something. Tomorrow there's a Three's Company marathon. I don't know what time it starts though.
