alright...i have called the local shelter...they assured me that i was right in thinking that what i saw was a puppy mill...and directed me to call the folks in Topeka.

when i called them to turn this guy in for the puppy mill he is running...they let me know that the fact that the guy has over 100 dogs is not necessarily a bad thing...

or that they are in wire cages...

or that he never handles them ...

or that he has breed them to the point of looking sickly and deformed...



now what do i do ???

i know that what i saw was not right...and i know that the animals need to be taken out of there...but if noone will help me...what can i do about it ??

i am sooo glad i got joeys sister out when i did...it would make me sick to think of her stuck in that without her brother...

i hate cruel people

and lately...the world seems to have a lot of them

I would keep bugging the animal control people and alert the ASPCA.

ok...heres the update...

i talked with irresistableb1tch this morning at great length...she had great advise...

i called PETA...and to my surprise...they called me right back to let me know what they could do to help me on this

they will be keeping up with the Topeka office...and making sure they do as they said they would by having someone go out and check on things there...

also...she wants me to call back and let her know how the visit to the vet goes...

i think we are on our way to freeing my puppies momma real soon now...
