i so am gonna go put on my copy of the xanadu soundtrack right now!!! and i haven't seen the movie in ages, i'ma go buy it this weekend!! when i wuz in job corps a friend of mine had a copy of the movie...i watched it all...i wuz in luuuv, it's a great movie!

I live about 3 minutes (driving distance) from the old Pan Pacific Park, which burned down several years ago.

It's now a condo building/post office/heathfood store (a little shopping center thingy)... They saved a little section of it because it was a landmark.

There's a great remix of the song Xanadu (Direct Hit Mix)and it incorporates ELO's "Dream Drums."

I got the soundtrack too plus some 7" singles with b-sides not on the album. And why wouldn't I? Check my profile - Olivia is on my list. "Physical" still ranks among my all-time favorite albums.

Alas... Not even the Physical album has been released on CD. Certainly, I haven't seen it anywhere. Only Xanadu and Grease soundtracks plus a couple of Olivia collections. But I don't like collections. I want the original albums on CD, dammit!

OMG...I LOVED THIS MOVIE!

I remember roller skating around my girlfriend's basement with homemade Xanadu costumes on...I was OBSESSED! I loved Oliva...she was such my idol when I was 8!
