Out of all the technology men have created through out centuries, why haven't they found something simple like a cure 4 the common cold ?

There is a simple, but sad answer...
A cure hasn't been released because the Common Cold is BIG Business! Just think of all of the Billions of dollars that would be lost by the drug companies (World Wide) if they released a CC cure. Just think of all of the products that would become useless. Right now there must several hundred product that are sold for "temporary relief" from the Common Cold.

Actually, there IS a preventive vaccine. I have worked at companies that offered free vaccination for their employees (as a measure to improve sick day statistics, I'm sure, so that they save money in the end.) (In Denmark, employers have to pay their employees even when they are sick.)
