speak your mind or bite your tongue?

So is it better to say what you think and damn the consequences or be polite and say nothing?
strike me down with all of your hatred, and your journey to the darkside will be complete.

You should always speak your mind. You can do this in a tactful way without being insulting. But sometimes we must remember not everyone really cares what we have to say. shrug
I say be honest at all times though! mr.green

Depends on the circumstances. Usually it's better to speak up,
but telling little 6yr old jenny that her school play was a vapid
piece of crap is probably not going to help anyone. wink

there are times when both are appropriate andd times when both are inappropriate. it's all about being able to tell which is the right choice in that situation

MEL always bringing the wisdom.

If you choose to speak your mind, and care nothing about politeness, then dont switch up when you receive a response that is not polite and start decrying the response you get.

Depends greatly on the situation. Some topics R very controversial, and some ppl R very sensitive. It helps 2 know who those ppl R. I however, usually say what i think & feel, in a manner in which I'm feeling the topic is being discussed, such as humourously or seriously. I'm an open minded person, and "take" other ppl's opinions/comments as they come, and I usually expect ppl 2 do the same with mine. Some do, some dont. But thats really their choice. If they cant accept the way I conduct a conversation, accepting it as ME, I guess we wont get along. Cant walk on eggs ALL the time!
