Anyone ever read this book??? It's fucking amazing!!! I was going to buy it! I borrowed it from the library but didn't get around to reading it. But, I still might buy it. For class I'm reading English Sixteenth-Century Verse: An Anthology. A friend brought me a copy of The Artist's Way. It's a very well-known book, but I'd NEVER heard of it. Today, another friend told me about Party of One: The Loners' Manifesto. I've just finished reading a few customer reviews. I'm gonna buy it.

The Lucifer Principle by Howard Bloom. GENIUS.
It's a pretty hefty tome that examines the intricate relationships between genetics, human behaviours and culture to put forth the thesis that 'EVIL' is a by-product of nature that is inherant in every living thing - right down 2 the lowest organism. Everyone should read it, it's revelatory *and yes, it IS the very same Howard Bloom in case u were wondering edit* [This message was edited Wed Sep 10 10:57:21 PDT 2003 by bananacologne]

The Crimson Petal and the White by Michel Faber. It's a nasty little story about a prostitute in 1870's London. Very sexy and a bit raunchy at times. Needless to say, I am loving it!

nerd edit [This message was edited Fri Sep 12 4:18:19 PDT 2003 by 2the9s] LMAO! Yep. Actually they're my sister's text books from one of her university classes, but I started reading them and found them really interesting and funny.
