I'd move in a minute if a) I didn't have my pets and b) I had a degree to fall back upon. I love traveling and would love to go live somewhere else, maybe not forever but for a while. Where? Albaquerque wink If u don't know who's there, think of who I love on here...then u'll know :p Also Detroit holds some lure for me, as do Texas with all the cow biggrin London, Paris, Copenhagen... all beautiful cities and I love them biggrin

canada would be cool, i think, especially Montreal. i actually miss the snow and cold weather - here in Charlotte, NC, we only get limited snow, and it's typically gone in a couple of days.

mad I can't believe I didn't know u when I was in Charlotte this February!! fit

well, dang - what a shame! what were you doing here? i mean, it's not exactly the tourist center of the US...

falloff I was visiting my ex-boyfriend who lives in Boone, NC. Landed in and flew out of Charlotte, spent two weeks in Boone... love the nature there, amazing smile

Cool question...

I really like San Francisco and some of the areas that surround it like Tiburon, Salsalito and the Wine Country! I don't know what it is... probably the Bay, the Golden Gate Bridge and the mountains in the distance. I think I would need to be in an area where I can see water and mountains.

Even though there are no mountains, I live in Chicago... born and raised here! And even though the winters are Hell, I can't imagine ever leaving the Windy City. You can't beat this city when it comes to nightlife, food, festivals, activity, and my goodness - that beautiful lakefront! I am just mesmerized by it and could stare at it all day if given the chance and the time!

I spent 2 weeks in NY for work and got homesick as soon as I arrived at LaGuardia. NY is a nice place to visit but I couldn't see myself living there. I spent 5 days in Paris, one of the most beautiful cities I've ever been blessed to visit, but the language barrier and all the smoking killed me! Being in a different country made me realize just how much of an American I truly am.

There are many nice places all over this country (USA) and overseas, but every time I leave Chicago, I always look forward to my return. Chicago is my home and this is where I belong.

Thanks for posting a cool question!

I'm in New Brunswick(Saint John),which is close 2 Quebec(Montreal).

I would Love 2 move somewhere where the climate is a little warmer(not 2 hot though) like British Coloumbia(Vancouver) & where the job market is alot better. The job market here SUX! although canada is the best country 2 live in imo,I'm just in the wrong city & province disbelief

that kind of stuff is good to know - unless you're digging deep in the relo information, it's hard to pick an area without having been there.

guess i'll continue my less-than-subtle campaign at home to relocate to Canada... wink

before i moved to D.C. to go to school i lived for a while in a small city called Asheville, NC.. it is a mountain valley town and it is very beautiful and serene but i didn't appreciate that until i left. not that i don't like d.c.,but it just made me apppreciate nature more.

If i had the chance i would move back to Asheville,or go to a small town in Andalusia. i lived in madrid for a few years and the trips my fam took to southern spain were always incredible

Yes I would, because Daniel Beding... (refuse to say his name) is from only 2 roads from me. what an asshole. U heard his album? what an erratic piece of pseudo-eclectism.

He needs to listen 2 some REAL music before trying 2 make ppl believe he's a real musician... toss pot.

Yup. I came out to Detroit to go to school and be with my ex-girlfriend. Well, school is over after this quarter and that relationship ended.

So now I can go ANYWHERE.

I'm going to try to find a decent job around here that I'll be HAPPY at, but if not I'll probably move back to the Pacific Northwest. I have lotsa friends there.

Arizona is ALSO a VERY STRONG possibility since my mother and several uncles and aunts live there...

The skies the limit!!

I've been through most the major areas! I almost ended up a Newfie and some part of my soul will always remain tied to that land. ( Don't ask me why...It just struck me that way! I crave to go back to see ST. John's Newfoundland now.) Never have I met a greater group of people. By living on a tight knit Island they have kept old world love for one another and have not become suspicious of outsiders like we are here in the city! Once your in with them .. YOU ARE IN! I "come from away like once a year and they always remember me and ask of me.

I nearly started the wheels in motion to move to Denver, Colorado 2 years back. But then I met the most beautiful guy, and fell head-over-boots in love...

...That was of course until he stomped on my heart with his litle Satan hooves.
