OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!!!! Just heard on CNN, that the record industry is sueing a 12 YEAR OLD GIRL for illegally downloading music on the internet!!!
Personally I think the music industry is going TOO FAR now in gaining total control!!! The record industry dont care 2 shits about the music and the art itself. Its all about MONEY now!!! U can tell that by the shitty music thats out now!!! | |

U have 2 take into consideration that I am in the UK, and I live in a different time zone!! Also the UK CNN is different and they put different news items as more important than others, so I only heard about this morning when I woke up and turned on the TV!! | |

He started whinging that people were downloading thier music(and I use the term "music" very loosely!!!  ), instead of buying it, hence they were missing out on sales, and inevitably, money, and then everything just snowballed from there, with the record companies and the corporate big-wigs in smart suits who havent a clue how 2 make music following on!!! | |

this is totally stupid...if you ask me...a 12 year old is no threat to a musician...and she is too young to be brought up on most charges for other crimes...what makes this so damn special ???

I'm not as outraged at the thought of suing a 12 year old as I am at the reaction the parents are having. Please, please, please stop acting like you don't know this shit is illegal. I don't get the 'poor me' thing. If they were to come after me, I would think they were assholes, but I also know what I'm doing is considered to be against the law and no matter how unfair I think CD prices are, I would still face the music. All the RIAA is doing is guaranteeing that I won't be buying any music anymore. | |
