i want you to know that this thread inspired me to clean up mhy desk! so now, rather than a heap of crap, all there is is my laptop, a lamp, a candle, several buddha statues, my phone and my inbox.

dayum, makes me wish i had a digital camera so i could take a pic of my pooter...chico, i just noticed what you said about people who have stuff stuck on their monitors--i'm one of those kinna people. you should see the monitor on my pooter at work, i've got sobe bottle caps all around the frame of it and a few stuffed animals sittin on top of it. 
ed (my home pooter) is sessy, tho' i don't have a desk for her to sit on. here's what's stuck on her monitor:
-- an it's happy bunny iron-on patch...it has a pink bunny on it, smiling and holdin its nose...underneath it has the caption "you smell like butt".
--two sobe bottle caps: one says my lizard beat up your honor student, the other has sweeet on it. --a "rude girl" iron-on patch --two sanrio stickers (one's hello kitty, the other one's pochacco) --a kikgirl sticker that has mr. owl from the tootsie pop commercial...has the caption "how many licks does it take?" --an old cyndi lauper button that the pin part broke off of ("cyndi sez: she bop") --a cut-out of prince on the pegasus from the back of the prince cd and last but not least, i've got a beanie baby woolly mammoth sittin on top of the monitor. | |

a printer a scanner speakers shit loads of CDR's (I really should sort them out) an amp speakers mixer 2 Technics SL-1210 decks 2 vari-speed CD players My regular CD player yet more CDR's (I really should back up more) various paperwork a stack of PC games and the rest of the room is just shelves and shelves of CD's and vinyl, plus my DX-7 Synth (how 80's of me) and my Fender Strat (you'd really think I shoulda learned to play it better by now). | |

David, I told you one time that my dream is to have a personal library... slow start, but I will get there. 
The books on the other shelf are school books, including an Art History Book, Environmental Science, several Nursing Books, Art/Design, Psychology and Educational Resources, Dictionary, Thesaurus.. etc.
Also, the Matisse book you see on the right (above)  , the lovely Phoenixxx just sent me. 
And this is a special little box that Byron gave me, filled with rose petals... 
 I like order...  ... I just let you into my world.
