Larry Flynt is is an official candidate for Governer of California. I know this will get moved but wanted anybody who cares and doesn't go into the P&R forum to see this. What's ridiculous and wrong about this recall vote is that 49.9% of the voters could vote against the recall but among the many many candidates running against Davis, someone like Flynt could win with 7% of the vote if he was the winning candidate with the most votes for replacement among all the candidates. So 49.9% could vote against the recall but 7% could vote Larry Flynt into office. Another example of Republican chicanery as far as I'm concerned. This state cannot afford this election but these Republicans will force this on the state so that they could get elected the only way they can, through chaos and recall vs actually running on the ballot at the time we voted for governor. . I'd vote for Flynt in a second and here's why--he's a sleazy,no-scruples scumbag who doesn't pretend he's not! While other politicians hide behind a shield of respectability, Flynt is one of the few honest men out there. Any man who can admit to fucking a chicken is honest. | |
