Oh GOD, Red...pleaase be careful, Honey...I just went through that myself...(actually with three different sets of neighbors in the downstairs flat.)
Can you move? If not, can you get someone to stay with you until that psycho moves and put more locks on your doors?

He is a new neighnour, just recently moved in.. sigh

Lets hope he cools down

Well, that makes things a bit more sticky... sad since the police have talked to him, maybe he'll calm down now...but, please don't put yourself in the position of being alone with him...EVER.
I hope you don't have to move because of this.

Be careful Red. You never know with people like that. Make sure you walk with someone at all times when you are going out or coming home. Especially at night.

If I were you, I'd call the police and inquire as to how their conversation went with him. The fact that they spent so much time with your neighbor is interesting, and you might want to know what sort of things he's saying about you and your behaviors. (possibly accusing you of things)

I have a burglar alarm and senstitisers in every room of my home, so I know if there is anyone in any room, I have video cameras outside my house, so I can see who is at my front door on the telly without having to go to the door, I have intercom, so I can ask who it is before letting them in, my mistake was I went outside and asked what it was, instead of ignoring him...I mean it was only 2.30 in the afternoon, in broad daylight! disbelief

Or maybe they found something illegal or suspicious, looking around his house...I'd try to find the police who responded to speak to, they are usually really open about sharing that sort of thing with the victims.

Well he had an accent (american I thought) but actually it wasnt, he is Canadian, the police already know him, I asked them how and they said his son tried to break into a shop or somewhere the other week...cos I have had no previous complaints and I reported him, I am sure that will go in my favour anyway

That sucks...I mean, it's great that you own your home, but it would be nice to have another authority figure to notify.
