You might not have seen me around here for the last 2 days...that's because I have been in Hospital.
I was playing basketball and was going for a lay-up. Someone from the other team went out to foul me hard...and that's when everything went bad.
I fell backwards and put out my left arm to stop me falling...my hand hit the court and snaped! The whole wrist got snaped in two and shattered bone as well. I wish I had a photo I could show you as my wrist was bent into a "U" shape. Well...I don't think I've felt pain like that before.
I spent the night in Hospital and the doctors managed to re-set my wrist by cracking it back into place. I've just spent the last 24 hours high on Morphine...and apparentley I've had confersations with people and hospital staff!

So...I'm fine now. Just can't use my left hand at all for the next 6-7 weeks. If you send me a org note or talk to me on the forums...please don't expect a long or fast reply. I'm typing with my right hand and just using the one finger as well. Just writing out this topic has taken me a good 20 minutes to do!

Just a footnote to that story too. I might not be able to post as much as before...so don't go thinking that I've left. It's just too hard for me to type with one hand all the time...so I'll be around lurking and doing the odd post.


Something tells me that you guys wouldn't miss me much anyway.

I play a lot of basketball and I've often worried about getting hurt but so far I've been lucky.

I'm sure you will heal fast and get back out on the court because that's what we do.
