Women who propose 2 men

what do y'all think about women who purpose 2 men 2 get married? Is it a gender bender challenge, a act of desperation or slightly romantic in a vulnerable way?

purpose edit biggrin

I think it is sweet, although I would rather wait to be proposed to, hmm (I think) confuse Oh I am not sure - yes, I wouldnt have a problem in doing the proposing myself, but where is my ring lol

Yes, they say women can propose on a Leap Year...I bet many wait for that Leap Year to do the deed, but there is no reason whyt they shouldnt just go ahead and ask their man. hey women ask for everything in life and get it (nearly always lol ) so why not marriage?

I think if anyone is gonna propose, you already have an idea what the answer is gonna be before asking, cos if you are 150% sure then that IS why you are proposing in the first place..correct? Do you get me, or have you lost track of what I am saying? nuts

My mind is somewhere else today, so em..sorry.. boxed

I dont understand the question. boxed

If U mean, 'propose', then I dont see why it should be such a big deal. If U love some1 and wish 2 marry them, then it shouldnt matter what gender U R 2 propose I feel.

Since women are usually the ones to bring up the whole marriage issue to their boyfriend anyway, to let it be known that the relationship is at that point (and sometimes they put down an ultimatum that it's marriage or breakup), I'd say that women are the ones who really do the proposing anyway. shrug

If a woman asked me to marry her, it wouldn't ruffle my feathers (or any other body part) one bit. I'm not getting married until I can afford to support a wife and kids, but if I arrived at that point and my girlfriend asked me...I'd certainly say 'Yes.' IF...I knew she was someone who I could grow old with.

My wife got tired of waiting for me to propose to her.
We had already bought a house together, but her parents
wouldn't let her move in until we were married...so she
tackled me in the bed, pinned me down with her knees, and
"forced" me to propose...i guess you could say that she,
in essence, proposed.

13 happy years later, I would be honored to ask her
for her hand in marriage again...maybe i'll be a little
more romantic next time. wink
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Dunno, but I don't have any good experiences with women who propose. Then again, maybe it's just American women, who knows. tease

It's fine if the woman brings up the idea of marriage (which is often the case), but to go and do it like a man traditionally does and make an event out of it wouldn't fly. If you wanna buck tradition forget the ceremony altogether-- otherwise let the man be the man. lol

The best thing is to drop subtle hints and if he's stupid enough or doesn't care enough to get the picture ask yourself... do you really want this guy fathering your kids? wink

In all seriousness many men who truly love their woman look forward to that moment when they save their money, buy the ring, get on one knee, and say those life-altering words. I guess it all comes down to the man you're speaking of.
