Oooo..purrrty! I thought you were going to post another "moon" picture at first! Actually, I did take it... You too can take similar pictures! Here is what was used: Canon EOS-10D digital camera Canon EF 75-300mm IS lens Tiffen circular polarizer Tiffen 50% UV filter No tripod was necessary, as the lens has servo motors in it to stabalize the shot. How'd you get so close with only a 75-300 lense? "You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." "

The actual zoom amount changes due to the optical sensors of the digital camera... it comes out to greater than 300mm but I don't know the exact figure. SUPERJOINT RITUAL - http://www.superjointritual.com

That’s fookin' great, but my question was the same, 300mm zoom would make the moon about a fifth of that size. Can digital really make such a difference? I am buying my first digital today to start exploring underwater photography, so I should hopefully be posting fishy pics soon. If they are anywhere close to this I would be happy, truly a great photo. Happy is he who finds out the causes for things.Virgil (70-19 BC). Virgil was such a lying bastard! | |
