Septemeber 3, 2003 - Blonde screen beauty Uma Thurman has dumped husband of five years Ethan Hawke, after catching him cheating on her with a 22-year old Canadian model.


The New York couple, who met filming Gattaca together in 1998, have two children, five-year-old Maya, and Roan, one.


Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill star Thurman, 33, heard about the affair when filming Paycheck in Vancouver with Ben Affleck.


Hawke, 32, was also filming in Canada on the doomed Taking Lives with Angelina Jolie and Oliver Martinez - who caused ructions in the hunk's relationship with Kylie Minogue when he was spotted dining out with the Lara Croft actress.


Despite wicked whispers, gorgeous goth Jolie is not to blame for splitting the married couple. Instead, Ethan has seemingly gone for younger model, Jen Perzow.


"Ethan and Jen went out of their way to avoid being seen in public, but they still shared intimate evenings at his rented loft," a source told skymovies.com.


"Ethan was giving Jen gifts until the time his movie wrapped in August and he left Montreal."


A source close to Thurman revealed: "When Uma first got wind of Ethan's cheating, they talked and she decided that maybe a one-night fling could be just a mistake and they could work through it.


"But when people told her that he was having an affair and was with the same girl more than once, it appeared as if it was instantly over in her mind.


"It seemed like there was no talking, no forgiving, no third chances."


American tabloid the Star reports that Uma wants to file for divorce "before the end of the year", which will be her second failed marriage after ending her two years with Brit actor Gary Oldman in 1992.
