The Fighting Temptations ( a ghetto movie review)

The fighting temptation movie is the new beyounce movie, featuring Cuba Gooding jr, Mike epps (from friday) and Steve Harvey. It takes place down south and the story line is about this business guy, who just recieved a large amount of money from his aunts will, but the only way he can get this money, is by directing this choir that sounds really terrible. I've been hearing rave about this movie every since last year, I forgot all about it until I saw the music video on Mtv, 4 the motion picture soundtrack.

I'm all for supporting black movies in all, but I'm not sure if I want 2 see this or not. Every time I see the preview 4 this movie, I can't help but 2 think about the other movie Kingdom Come (featuring whoopi goldberg, ll cool j and jada pinket smith) and Lord only knows how gawd awful that movie was ... boxed All I want to know is what in the world was whoopi goldberg thinking when she made that movie?

I don't know about y'all, but after watching Beyounce in the remake of Carmen Jones, I don't think I can bare 2 watch her in another movie, for a another 2hrs. I can only take her deep sounding voice for so long before it really starts 2 argravate me lol The only highlight in this movie I think will be watching Mike Epps and Steve Harvey, I love both of these guys, but Cuba Gooding Jr, this has bee the first black movie he's been in since Boyz n da hood

So I guess my question is, who's planning on going 2 see the new movie, The Fighting Temptations?
