What internet browser do you use? I have gotten sick of Internet Explorer, and have been trying many different browsers to see what I like. What do YOU use? Sign 78 that you're obsessed with Prince: You buy a John Prine album- just out of curiosity.

Try Netscape 7.1
I've tried Explorer before and I got sick of using it too. I haven't had any problems using Netscape and it loads up fast too.

Ugh, I can't stand Netscape. I got Mozilla, and although it was perfect, it is a Netscape browser (actually, technically Netscape is a Mozilla browser, Mozilla started it) so I can't stand it. It is just... wierd Sign 78 that you're obsessed with Prince: You buy a John Prine album- just out of curiosity.

Don't know Mozilla well...but I'd give the Netscape version a try.

Safari. For you mac people, Safari kicks IE's ass in terms of speed. Especially for org-ing.

God, it is getting annoying, they all have flaws.
Here is a run down Avant Browser: A great internet explorer browser, has tabs (that means that it has multiple internet windows in one little tab, instead of having 5 different windows open at the same time.) but it freezes up and has no skins or any bells and whistles of any mark. Mozilla: Has EVERYTHING, but is Netscape based, something I don't like. NeoPlanet: Has a HUGE selection of skins (Over 500!) and is incredibally cool, but has no tabs, and each window takes a long time to just open up. Also, interferes with original Internet Explorer. Opera: Is really good, is what I am using now, although you must endure a large advertisement banner at the top of your screen, cutting the actual internet site view a bit. You can get rid of the banner for a cost of 30 dollars Sign 78 that you're obsessed with Prince: You buy a John Prine album- just out of curiosity.

Hah!!! I'v dumped that stinking Safari! Crashed on me all the time, nexpectedly Quit my ass! Slow as a mother...I'm using a TiBook...piece of...browser! Cache was TOO good, i'd go to pages and they haven't changed, why? Because Safari kept the page and info in the cache and doesn't update it! Annoying. Camino...CAMINO! Never crashes http://www.mozilla.org/projects/camino/ This a great browser and modern and very Aqua-ish. Try it, it's faster than a Jaguar!

that'd be awesome!!! have a laptop that you could do that with... it'd never crash, but if you accidentally bump it it'd erase the page you were on!

I hate Netscrape. Opera would be my second choice, I guess...just cough up the $30.
What's wrong with IE? What kinds of problems are you having? Fear is the mind-killer.

Yeah, I am just going to go ahead and use the free version of Opera, that little banner isnt that bad.
As for IE, there are confirmed (by Microsoft themeselves) flaws, about six or so, that are pretty critical. Sign 78 that you're obsessed with Prince: You buy a John Prine album- just out of curiosity.

As for IE, there are confirmed (by Microsoft themeselves) flaws, about six or so, that are pretty critical. If dickheads would be looking for exploits in other browsers they'd find them too, but they're just focussed on MS products for the most part. Not one piece of software is flawless, not by MS, not by anyone else. Sites using exploits are extremely rare, but when it comes to computers the general public seems to be a bit paranoid.
