Do girl have 2 B tough, too? I'm asking cause this Q got me going for some time now.
U all know most guys are very tough, or at least tryin to act tough, either to score chix (because guys think that girls like tough and cool guys more than the weak ones..well yes, we do!) or to be cool in front of their friends. But do girls have to act tough to get respect too? Or is it Ok just to break down and cry if something's happened and U can't cope with it? Why don't be tough instead and don't let a tear slip out? Hide and seal everything inside of U and just say "I don't give a damn, I'll be fine about it!" What do U think - is it time for girls to stand up and be tough, or still be the "weak sex"? I'll stick to my guns on this one...
Just be who you feel you should be. I've found a happy medium in my life and my being that I'm quite content with. I will be strong when need be and I will cry when I have to. I am not ashamed to show that I do have emotions. I am also not ashamed to throw a rollicking throat-punch if a situation calls for it. So, I'll just say it again... Be you you want to be and don't let anyone else get in your way. Yeah, it really is that simple. | |

A happy medium would be great. I can't stand the extremes: those who are overly tough/abusive or the ones who cry all of the time and rely on everyone else to be strong for them.
Whether a person is male or female, I think they need to be able to take care of themselves and use their mind and spirit for balance of the yin and the yang. | |

I like the idea of girls being strong.
Emotional stability is a great strength. I like the idea of females having dignity and self-esteem. Tough? Hmmm 
To me, neither guys are girls need to be too tough or rough. I like the idea of men and women being strong. On a further note, I do like being "tough" in the sense of not being "thin-skinned"(easily offended). HerRoyalBadness: when the situation calls for it...STAND FIRM! YES!
