House of a 1.000 Corpses

Y'all have got 2 see this movie... I had been hearing about it every since forever, in the back of mind I was thinking, it was just going 2 be another crap horror flick that's been coming out lately. You know stuff like Freddy vs Jason and all that crap, but then again I was thinking 2 myself, Rob Zombie did direct the movie and shoot his music videos scare the hell out of me lol. Anyways the best way I can describe this movie is, picture The Rocky Horror Picture show meets Silence of the lamb who meets Texas chain saw mesacure, put all three movies 2gether and you have The Brilliant House of a 1,000 corpses...

This clown cracks me up lol

It really is a very good horror movie... I went to see it three times at the theater and have watched it many times on DVD... in fact, I watched it again yesterday.

Captain Spaulding, Otis and the gang will be back for the sequel... it starts filming in October and will be released next April or so... it might be August.

That's cool, I was wondering if there was going 2 be a sequel 2 this movie, I said the vaulbe lesson in this movi is, never pick up a hitchhiker on the side of the road or stop at a place that sales fried chicken and gasoline lol

I really didn't care for it too much. It was basically Texas Chainsaw Massacre meets Natural Born Killers. It just wasn't original at all.

I agree with your assessment. It wasn't original but I still really enjoyed it. Zombie really paid attention to the fine detail in all those '70s horror films. I just thought it was great having a unrelentlessly nihilistic gore film with NO socially redeeming factors. This is the kind of movie Herschell Gordon Lewis used to make. It's nothing NEW...but I always have fun watching it.

Say, what are your favorite horror films, Evil?

I am a little biased...the day the movie came out Rob Zombie was here with his wife at best buy for a signing and I got to meet them!!! He was so cool and his wife (who played the hitch-hiker "Baby" in the movie) was super nice! I stood in line for 3 hours to get him to sign my copy of the mvoie and one of my CD's. The movie is predictable I'll admit but, still great fun!!! I am a huge horror fan and never turn away a good one... SO SEE IT!!!
