Are you reading that shitty story book that was later filmed, or the "banned in a shitload of countries" thing? (The "banned" thing being the so called "BOOK OF THE DEAD", with chapters like "The Testimony Of The Mad Arab", "The MAKLU Text", "The Conjuration Of The Watcher" etc. etc. Chthulhu and all his other Demon pals etc. etc. and the spells to fuck with people and all that fun stuff, supposedly written in Damascus in the 8th century A.D.) I bought this book when I was 16 and was truly fascinated by it... Even though I think it's all bullshit and stuff it's still an interesting read and it seems to do something with people, like a guy I knew who just started to believe all that stuff and started to see things in numbers and stopped sleeping because he claimed he was being visited at night by these so-called "Ancient Ones" and "Elder Ones" and eventually got insane and is still locked up to this day... And well the controversy around this book was always pretty fun (people started trying out some of the spells in it and disappeared and shit, some people started going on a kill-crazy rampage, others started mutilating themselves or other people and yet others just simply got insane...) Here's the "banned" book, so you know what to look for if you ever want to read it...
