Is piercing over? hasn't this art form lost it's radical intent? I think it's about time the piercing fetish freaks cease and desist. I think in extreme cases it is a cry for help; or a sick way of being different. The scars outside might be a symbol of inner scars, undetected by outward appearance or demeaner.
Better to just stick with listening to cool music and retro clothes--stick the piercing craze into the history chest. All you others say Hell Yea!!  | |

hehehe, this reminds me of this program i wuz watchin while waitin at saint sabrina's yesterday to get my tattoo done...it wuz a tlc program about body art, and they had a segment on tribal piercings and such. very fascinating stuff. 
as for piercings n'such bein over, i don't really think so. stuff like that just started up in the mainstream not too long ago, so it'll be around for a bit. i do think that piercings such as tongue and navel piercings may as well die out and be gone.  | |

I think it's more uncommon for someone not to have a piercing or tattoo these days. It's not as shocking as it was however many years ago. So no, it's not over - it will never be uncool or out of the loop, but it definitely is getting more mainstream. I mean, like, where is the sun? | |
