my friends and I were trying VERY HARD to get into that show last nite. But, we've all seen the UK version and the show last nite just wasn't cutting it...we couldn't decide if we were just biased or if the show really did suck the delivery of lines was so poor, and the jokes just didn't translate well (even though most of them had the same punchline) also casting what's her name from 90210 (who married Steve on that show)-the original ice queen- as "JANE"??? It just didn't work for me for people in the US who haven't seen the UK version...QUIT WATCHING NBC'S version and find the original on BBCAmerica or on DVD...I think the original is hysterical | |
