I know where ya coming from Bad. There's a lot of sensitivity on this site. GO figure. I think it's like black folk somethings we're ultrasensitive to when said by another of a different race. The same may apply when dealing with people with different sexual preferences. Kinda like black people can call each other nigga but when someone else of a different race says it it's offensive. I been around gay people and heard them refer to each other as fags or as gay many times they didn't seem to offended to me. I guess it's all in the conotation.
Ususally when hetro's refer to another person as a fag it's meant to be offensive or derogatory, like their infierior, weak, confused etc, not to be mistaken as a complement. When I come here I find I check myself often, and being extra aware of the words I use here when referring to gay people, it's all out of respect which I would expect in return, I'm sure if we were on a site for metallica or some other hardcore band we wouldn't have to worry about this issuse as much, I can't visualize to many people being openly gay on there. I could be wrong though! Not that there's anything wrong with that.
