Funny now but when I hear adults prefacing sentences with the word "dude" it makes me think of a teenaged kid instead of an intelligent adult.

lemme tell ya...when i was in junior and senior high...i VOWED that i would never use the words dude...since every jock FUCKER used the word...and i wanted to be as far away in smililarity from those fucking dudes as possible... BUT

i got out of school...and i swear the fucking flood gates flew open...because i used the word dude...more than anyone i know...it sux...its a habit i wish i could curb...but...fuck dude...i just cant LOL

seriously though dudes...it is a lame habit...maybe now that i have quit smoking cigarettes...i can curb the dude usage LOL

I don't mind it when it's used properly, but if you're a guy and you call a girl "dude", you are officially a pussy.

It seems like you hear it alot in Cali now days, especially in Santa Cruz. Everytime I went there that's all i heard coming from all the surfer dudes.

I only use it when I'm annoyed with someone..whatever dude etc ..
