Pop ups about Pop ups It's enough that I get barraged by dozens of pop ups every time I try to get on the Internet, but what irks me most is that now I'm getting pop ups about how to stop pop ups. It reminds me of a group of people on campus who were against fraternities so they decided to start their own.  | |

Dig this... get PopUp Manager!
http://www.endpopups.com/ ...it works like a charm and it should even end the pop-ups about stopping pop-ups! *or get a Mac and use Safari, like I do at home.

Also, if you're using Internet Explorer, you might want to switch to Mozilla. It's a free download and it blocks pop ups. My tech-friendly friend hooked it up for me but it looked pretty simple. There's also a way to see how many have been blocked - which it kinda cool, too. Shows them who's boss! :yah2:

Mozilla is fine, but I prefer Avant. It has a pop up blocker too, and I think the lay out is a bit nicer. Sign 78 that you're obsessed with Prince: You buy a John Prine album- just out of curiosity.

What annoys me is adverts 2 erase internet files of stuff that I shouldnt be looking at i.e. porn. Its irritating considering they've popped up when Ive not been looking at porn in the 1st place! | |
