Why do some hate seeing very happy people Why do some hate seeing cheerful person Why do some tend 2 think there's something wrong with them and we wonder, well what makes them so damn happy? Why do some treat people wrong when they seem 2 be living more happier lives then what we have?

Edit [This message was edited Sun Aug 24 0:05:26 PDT 2003 by Mizzunderstood] My take on this is: For one, there R really NOT too many "HAPPY" people, So when some of us see others who REALLY R, there is jealousy and a sub-conscious wish for them NOT 2 B. Also, if one is always happy I would tend 2 believe it was fronting on their part, therefore I would feel they R not being honest. May the BELLS ring 4 U even when ur not in love.   | |

I don't hate seeing happy people at all.
But I'll admit that sometimes when I see people I believe to be assholes enjoying the benefits in life, it frustrates me. I know of so many people who do such good things, or who are such nice people, yet they get shit on by life circumstances. It just doesn't seem fair. 
But it's not my job or place to judge who gets cancer, or who finds true love, or whose child dies and whose child lives... | |

Well, if you're REALLY depressed, you sometimes hate seeing overtly cheerful people. My big thing when Im bummed--which is usually over love or money--is I hate seeing couples engaging in PDAs. I'll mutter something like, "Yeah, they're happy now, but wait a while and he'll be fucking her sister!"
LOL...I don't get in these moods often (thank God). See, I don't like FALSE emotion. If someone is TRULY happy then God bless them. If they're FAKING happiness, then fuck 'em--they eventually will be hurting. You cant fake emotion very long. But if you're truly happy for whatever reason...Kudos. Most people never get there... | |
