WHAT ARE YOU AFRAID OF

What are some of the things in life that scares the hell out of you? for me it would be not knowing how I'm going to die. boxed

knowing how you will probably die is kind of relaxing somehow, believe it or not.

i have a fear of being assasinated. ever since i was a little kid i have had this dream that i am in this park, steeping up onto a protable stage with three risers full of people applauding for me, and as i hit the thrid step, someone shoots me in the head.

It's a major part of the reason i would never pursue a professional career in acting, writing, or directing.

when it starts to really realyl affect me, i will end it quietly and painlessly with sleeping pills, i have already decided. hopefully it won't happen for a long time, but at some point the disease will take over my body and put me at a point i won't be able to handle it anymore.

I am really in truly life scared to death of someone breaking into my house and killing me. Or the house catching on fire. My parents said I've been like that since I was a little girl. Even now, sometimes I can't sleep at night because of it.

Can someone elaborate on what is scary about clowns? Is it the make-up or the outfits or what?

It's all symbolic, Cborgman. A park is something that symbolises a place that is lush with life, nature, a place where you feel good at ease - or very simply: Life.
The stage and the crowd applauding you COULD symbolise you entering into a popular role in life, and dying is usually a symbol for a life altering event - not death itself.

Does this make any sense to you, my heart?

I am completely paranoid about fire too.

As a smoker*, I always take extra precaution that I don't empty the ash tray into something burnable - but into the used coffeefilter or something.

The worst part is - you can take your own precautions, but what if your downstairs neighbor does not? omfg

(*=I know a lot of you americans are anti-smoking, but smoking is a common thing to do in Europe - particularly in the southern European countries. In the northern ones, such as Denmark where I live - anti-smoking movements have sprung up, though. sigh)
