I Am an Auntie (again) My nephew, Jack William, was born today at 3:45pm in Louisville, KY. He weighed 8 lbs., 8 ozs and measured 21 inches in length!

This was my brother, John's, first birth experience and he was a trooper! He stayed in the room when they inserted the catheter, watched them do the epidural and even looked at what was coming out when they broke the bag!  The guy didn't pass out, which I fully expected, seeing as this is the brother who would freak out when I just said the word "tampon". 
Oh, and he thinks his wife hung the moon and the stars--like she's the only woman who's ever had such a great baby! I love that! | |

Great news, congrats! I only know metric though, so I've no idea if that is a good size for a baby or not  | |
