What do you consider swearing at your children? I agree calling your 4yr old a stupid old cunt is rather ... pointless :d

People who yell at their children should be beaten bloody and have profanities screamed at them until; they die a slow painful death by corruption.

People who swear at their children need to remember that they are the adults. There are more adult ways to speak to your children.

people who swear at their children are truly pathetic parents.

And while I am at it... People who swear at other adults when angry are morons too. It does nothing other than put the person on the defensive and/or make them angry.

awareness is a good start! i grew up in a dysfunctional family, and have learned to break the cycle - i would never as much as lay a hand on a child, or another being for that matter.

Flip side, young children who swear is hilarious.

My neice when she was about 3 years old, came in from playing with her wee friend, don't know what went on outside, but her first words to us were "fucking bike!"

My sister was horrified! biggrin

i'm sorry, i thought we were talking about people screaming at their kids, and being generally abusive. as far as using curse words in front of your kids, i'd have a very hard time not to... i curse like a sailor... lol

I have to humbly disagree. It's usually due more out of frustration. Like I said, kids can get on your nerves. And after working all day, coming home to your kids fighting over one looking at the other one the wrong way can make you curse. Or mabye it't just me.

i'm not talking about speaking in anger or frustration...just talking ...i'm like...omg

example..."right we're gonna have f*&king fish and chips for dinner toady. remember to wash your f$*king hands...etc"

in a frustrating and angry situation...i'm sure its that much harder to hold back...we're only human.

Muffy

Children are God's Blessing anyone who abuses them in any way be Penalized. I love kids and I get Appalled at all these fools for parents who couldn't raise a flower let alone a Child. There outta be a law that says EVEN IF YOU CAN HAVE A CHILD DON"T IF YOU CAN'T BE A GOOD ONE! Big Freakin Deal you have a child but Abuse it. To me there should be strickter laws regarding this.
