Nooo. It's a 1982 teen comedy that takes place at a high school.Features Sean Penn making his film debut, playing a surfer dude. The scene where he has a pizza delivered during one of his classes is hilarious.

That list was kinda lame..."Weekend At Bernie's" is #1???
Nah... Here's MY list for the MOST 'Eightiest' movies (not in order) Purple Rain Liquid Sky Thrashin' Footloose Back to the Future Wall Street Repo Man The Decline of Western Civilization Suburbia Sixteen Candles Note: I left off "The Breakfast Club" because the only thing that made that movie 'truly 80s' were the fashions and the music. The movie could apply to EVERY generation. These movies I think apply to that odd essence that formed the '80s...

Damn I just read the list. It was lame for the most part like Dudedrops said. But it made me realize I'd forgotten Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo. Awesome movie... "I ordered no broth! Away with ye lest my cane find your backside!!"- Ralph Wiggum, Actor.
