There is, or was, a reason you decided to "be" with someone...something about them which drew you to them and kept you there. If it's a past lover, keep that memory of them alive inside you, and let go of all the smaller issues...you'll give the memory of what they gave of themselves both dignity and respect. And if it's a present love, never lose focus of the beauty contained within all you share together, and relegate the smaller issues to much lower on the list...even if you end up going your separate ways, it's better to celebrate what you love about this person now, than to do so only after they're no longer in your life.  | |
