I have a lot of complaints about this movie, but I don't regret seeing it in the theater. It was a like a tradition.

I just saw the movie. While I can't say it was great, it was somewhat fun, I have to admit.

A lot of people don't like the second one, but I thought it was awesome. It was real dark and fucked up. When Freddy stabbed that fat kid by the pool, I was like "Oh shit!" That was a vicious shot. Freddy was one evil mo fo in that movie. That's the freddy they should have kept throughout the series. No silly jokes, just pure sinister evil.

You gotta understand, I write and direct so I'm naturally gonna be overly critical of shit. But it just annoys me cuz I grew up on these movies and I just had to watch each sequel get dumber and dumber. It's like someone taking a Picasso and painting extra features on it cuz it seems cool.

Evil, I generally have to side with you here. But I think you set yourself up a bit more than me to be let down. Both these franchises have been irreparably dumb for over a decade.
