Bloody Retards! Dont you get sick of talking to some retard on the phone who knows nothing about the business they are working in, are there to help,but can't?
I am talking about BANKS! Just phoned mine and got this teenage fuckwit, who not only had difficulty trying to string a sentence together also was getting agitated with me cos he couldnt advise or help. So then I ask to be put through to someone who can...he sighs and says ok, only to come back and tell me that the person in question isnt available and its best I pop into a local branch.. I mean wtf are these people getting paid for?? Disclaimer 1: I am just talking about my experience and venting, anyone here who works in this business, I am sure you do the best you can...I just wanna scream though.. Disclaimer 2: No offence to retards..they cant be as bad as the guy I just spoke to.. | |

What's even worse is how large companies are outsourcing their support staff to foriegn countries.
As much as I love Dell, their tech support people have such insanely thick asian & middle eastern accents, I can't understand a g**damn word they're saying. It's bad enough that I'm mad my computer is broken, the last thing I need is a splitting headache trying to talk tech stuff with someone who can barely speak my language. | |

Don't take that shit. Call back and demand to speak to a supervisor. Or even better, put your experience in a letter now (while the incident is still fresh in your mind) and detail how uniquely unhelpful the person was. Post it to someone important at your bank.

I am going in to SEE the bank manager tomorrow, thing is I have enough funds in my account, they have just messed about with it, which means my card is accepted some places and not others...I mean..all the guy could say was..em, is there a scratch on it...

It's possible you were through to a messaging service that just deal with the banks overflow calls.If they're busy, the calls go on divert.I work for such a company and legally we can't help you but have to pretend we are the bank, roofing company, fitness centre, lawn care service, hair salon etc anyway.Usually you get told you're "through to reception, all advisors are busy. can i take some details and someone will call you back?"

I'll tell you who fucking piss me off - the Major record labels.
You see, I work for a lil' regional music mag. Now, I'll ring these people up and say "Hi, it's (my real name) from (magazine I work for). We'd like to do a big feature on (name of some artist/band on their label) so please can you send me a photo and their current tour dates. The teenager in the regional press department will say 'Yeah, great man. We love your mag, that'd be really cool. I'll e-mail them to you right now.'. Nothing ever turns up. This is the best case scenario. Most of the time you just get an answerphone and they don't return your calls. I think some of the big labels make up employee names as part of some tax dodge and they get actors to record the voicemail messages, to fool the inland revenue. I used to work with a guy who'd landed a work placement at a very famous international major label's London offices. He told me tales of widespread drug abuse, complacency, arrogance and total inefficency. This is why the industry is not in trouble and nothing to do with MP3 downloading! I would never have gone out and bought all of Sigur Ros' albums if I hadn't downloaded some MP3s and decided they were the best band I'd heard in ages. I certainly wasn't going to hear them on the fucking radio. Fuck the majors, they're wasting their own money AND MY TIME! I moved recently and I found the ppl working at the electric company total fuckwits. I phone, the day I move (as you have to, to give meter readings) and they haven't even got me on their computer! I was so stressed.
I've now cancelled my DD. I mean, if they can't even send me any correspondance in 2 years of being with them, send me false bills, and supply me with a letter, stating an account number and then not have me on their computers they can go take a running jump! They really made matters on the day totally stressful. | |
