How important is a person's looks/ Image as a Performer? Do looks matter a great deal to you or is it basically about the music? And do you ever fantasize about performers? | |

If it's a guy it's all about the music but if it's a women she has to look good! 
Just kidding, I think talent outshines looks. There are many female performers who aren't visually stunning but their music has caused me to fall in love with them.  some of them I would even make a baby with. | |

Well I would like 2 believe that music is the most important. but from the looks of MTV and BET it's easy 2 see, image becomes first before the music... it's like you have 2 the total package, you can sing ur azz off, but it doesn't matter if you look like The Cookie Monster  You can be as cute as a button and still get a recording contract just because ... (cough, cough ahsanti, cough, cough britney spears) and just so you won't think I'm just talking out the side of my neck, I can give you example
Martha Wash has the best singing voice ever I mean she up there with Chaka Kahn, her singing voice is so good it'll bring a tear 2 ur eye Yet Just because she was a big woman, C&C music factory stole her voice only 2 replace her looks with a skinny model in a video and you know that ain't right 
Milli Vinillie I'll admit I still like the songs even though they lip singed through the whole album. They where choose, because of their look and not their talents, which ended up being the one of the biggest scandal in music history. Music 2day has not change much. I mean I know Ruben Studders won the American idol contest, however he doesn't seem 2 get as much publicity as Kelly Clarkston does (Even though she won last year) And I think it has alot 2 do with the image. People want the whole package.
