HELP! THAT STOOPID :censored: VIRUS IS DRIVING ME UP THE WALL!!!!!

i just got a broad band line installed and whilst trying to setup my account i keep getting that 60 second shutdown thing!!!

i tried calling my broad band provider but after 50 minutes waiting in a que i gave up mad

how do i get this peice of shit off my computer and fix it for good?!?!?! (running XP Pro)

the person who can provide an answer that leads to my computer being fixed will be dearly rewarded...

NOW SOMEONE HELP!!!

I'm glad you've got it solved. However, I think the quickest solution would have been to get the fix from the Microsoft web site. Not sure if that's only a prevention or also a cure..

wow. i'm glad i downloaded that patch when i did. i think i did anyway. microsoft whatever version 9.0 or something. how do you know if you're infected? besides the shutdown thingy, i mean? are there specific files to look for on your computer or something? anyone know?
