Vegan restaurants in Detroit/New York...info needed Does anyone know good vegan restaurants or grocery shops in Detroit and New York???
A friend of mine is strictly vegan and needs to be in Detroit in the last week of August. After that she will be in New York for a couple of days. She is afraid (very afraid ) that she won't be able to find good (at least proper) vegan restaurants... If you happen to know one or more please let me know. Thanks for your help Sirvie

There's a lot to choose from in NYC, but my favorite is Angelica's, on 2nd Avenue and 12th Street (I think that's right...) - I know Moby has a vegan cafe somewhere in Little Italy, and I remember there was a VERY good Jamaican vegan spot around Harlem...wish I could remember the name/address, because it was YUM.
..that's all I can think of right now... Seitan Worshipping Edit [This message was edited Wed Aug 13 10:36:02 PDT 2003 by Anxiety]
