you all know by now about my teeth..and having to have 4 root canals done right ?

ok..i saw the first dentist on the 11th...thats when he said that i would have to have all this shit done..and that it would cost me 7,157.00 to save my teeth (doing the root canals) or...3,227.00 (by pulling them and doing partials...which i dont want) anyway...he sent me home with antibiotics and pain pills...too think this over...

well...i dont have the money to pay for that ...so i called a dental clinic over here...that can get me in on the 3rd of september...that is a horribly long wait, but what can you do ?

now...have to get through till then...and i need enough pain pills to last me...but...after speaking with the original dentist...he doesnt feel 'comfortable' writing me up for those...and doesnt think he can help .


the next dentist wont do it...because they havent seen me yet...




what the fuck am i too do now ??? and why are they so damned protective of the shit...damn...it aint like im stealin his shit...

so like i told him...now you just want me too be in pain until the 3rd...or pay you too take them out ? those are my only options ? doesnt that seem like some sort of blackmail too you ? or am i trippin ??

ok hang on hang on hang on... they cant get in till the 3rd, right, and the prior dentist wont give u another script for the pain pills, until your visit on the 3rd,ok heres the thing.

most doctors feel its an ethics thing to not write up another script for pain pills because most become terribly addictive. now u have another option, chill with the pills u have if u can till the 3rd and kind of grin and bear it, or,take them when the pain is really really bad and not when its tolerable. see?..

but...heres the thing...stupid me waited until the pain was absolutely unbearable before going to the dentist in the first place...so i pretty much have taken them every 4-6 hours like it says on the bottle...

and yes...i have joked with you about how high they make me...but really...i can get high in other ways...i am taking these pills as directed and for what they are used for...

i dont think its fair for them too leave me like this...especially when he knows how much pain i am in right now

i try to spread them out as much as possible...but...then it takes longer for the pain to go away...and i am not getting full relief from them...

Sorry if I sounded insensitive. As someone who's mother and father are both in the insurance industry, I have insurance up the wazoo, and never have to worry about this sort of thing. Whatever needs doing, I get done, and I don't worry about the cost.

However, I've never had any cavities or fillings, or root canals, or anything else. I did have braces and four teeth pulled to straighten out my teeth as a child, but that's it.

Take 4 Advil as it is the same dosage found it most pain pills. The bottle says that you shouldn't take that many but you should be okay for such a short period of time.

Yesterday my Doctor told me to take 4 advil everytime I go running forever!

I'm British, so I don't care about my teeth!

Pull the damn things out yourself, then get pished!

i have no dental coverage of anytime...however...i did visit my doctor this morning and he sent me too the hospital...where a doctor on duty there numbed my mouth and gave me 30 pain pills

I agree take 4 advil. that is what i had to do when i had teeth issues. (use the liquid advil, it take less time to kick in) also you could try swishing with a little alcohol
(booze and remember, i said SWISH) it helps to numb the area. You should get some insurance soon, but right now you need to get rid of the pain. you could try the dental college in your area as well they sometimes charge less money for proceedures of that nature. in the mean time no one will prescribe anything for you until they have seen you, but everytime you go somewhere new they will charge you just to be seen as well. also some of the pain will go away once the infection is gone if there is any. that is something to hold on to.
