Not everyone has an evil motive just because they use an alter-orgo. You probably wouldn't reconize them in real life anyway. So when you think about it what really is the alter-orgo? And as far as people being applauded or knocked down, you're only gonna "C" what you wanna "C" in that person. Some think Bin Laden is a monster whereas others think he is their saviour. Everyone has an angle from which they get their view.
