A dental dam is a piece of flexible latex, originally designed for use during oral surgery. They have become popular as a way of practicing safer oral sex on those body parts where a condom is sub-optimal. Sadly, dental dams were not designed for this activity, and transmit sensation about as well as an old copy of On Our Backs.

But we're very pleased to carry a dam that is designed especially for oral sex, and it's wonderful! The Glyde "Lollyes" Dams are made in Malaysia, source of the highest quality latex, by Kia-Ora, an Australian company. They are thin, strong, and transmit sensation extremely well. Lollyes have a light coating of cornstarch (which can be easily rinsed off if you prefer) and a delicate scent and flavor of either vanilla (for the natural, creme-colored dams) or wildberry (for the purple dams). Note: Lollyes have been given FDA approval for use with oral-anal sex -- a.k.a. analingus, a.k.a. rimming. (We are very amused to imagine what exactly the approval process consisted of...) So if you've been using them for rimming, you can now do so with the FDA's blessing; if you've been waiting for the FDA's blessing, you now have it.
