Had a sore throat that just wont go away? I've had one for about three days now after having the sniffles all phuckin week what are some things that will help ease a sore throat besides cough drops?

Try to disolve a Disprin in some water and then gargle that.

Yes, it turned out to be strep throat. Hadn't gotten that since I was a little kid...if your lymph nodes get swollen, go to the doctor.

I always liked extreme temps when my throat is sore--either something icy cold (a slurpee from 7-11) or verrry hot (soup, hot chocolate). Those helped.

When I worked in daycare I had a constant sore throat.
I think I worked up an immunity to there nasty little germs now :knocksonwood:

In some European countries back in the day, if someone had a sore throat, folk healers would place a small frog in their mouths and let it sit for a while. They believed that as the frog breathed it would take the ailment into itself.
