Anyone else love watches? Some people like shoes, cars, or clothes, etc. But I've got a serious watch fetish. It's one of the first things I notice about a person. If I see an interesting watch partially concealed by a shirt sleeve, I feel like some perv trying to look up a girl's skirt! I've actually noticed a watch without noticing the person attached to it! This happened a few times on the subway. One day it occurred to me to look at the person wearing it. I'm telling you, I probably wouldn't be able to identify the man, if he was wearing a different watch.

I haven't worn a watch in years.  I think I was about 10 last time I wore one. So that's about 6 years ago I think?? I don't really feel the need for one anymore. Cell phones, in your car, time is everywhere. What is time anyway???  | |

Quick story: When my watch broke, I went to my father in law, because I'd heard he had some extra watches...  This man pulled out
3 HUGE briefcases FULL of watches...literally hundreds of em. Most were too showy for me...he had ultra expensive watches, and some cheapies. After much debate, I settled on one silver one. Wouldn't you know, it didn't work, and I had to return it...it wouldn't tell time! Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |
